What does your home say about you?

What does your home say about you?

Art holds a mirror up to nature.

We look at art - a drawing, sculpture, piece of writing, a poem, play, film or TV show - and see ourselves and our world, our people and purpose, and things that make us happy or sad, alive or depressed.

When you look at this piece below, what do you see? What does it remind you of, bring to the surface of your thinking or reflect your feelings?

I see lips.

I also see an ocean and shore, water and land. Two cultures. Two people. Two worlds. I see contradiction. Opposites connected. Thinking divided. Clear lines and boundaries. A sea of white.

Can you see this on your wall?

Art for your home

Houses are art.

And our homes, through the creative way we intentionally put our things, clocks, furniture, linen, appliances and lives on display, reflect what we think and feel, what we believe and the bar against which we measure our success.
